What people are saying.

  • Working with Kyser has not only been meaningful and effective… It has been transformative. His approach is based in the highest levels of knowledge and insight. I feel I have been educated in the art of Pilates after only 10 sessions and am thrilled there is so much to learn. I am gaining flexibility as well as strength and endurance. I can imagine this being my central exercise regimen for life.

  • My husband and I have been attending his mat classes for about a year and they are a challenging, but low impact workout. It really helped him build his core strength after hernia surgery. Larry is an knowledgeable instructor who can tailor any move to work for you and your injuries, or be more challenging. He creates a fun and welcoming environment for anyone to join, highly recommend

  • If you want to SEE results and FEEL better than ever, then you need to make an appointment with Kyser. I came in with killer low back, knee and shoulder pain. Within three sessions, the pain has decreased dramatically. What I appreciate about Kyser is his determination to make sure his patients dont further injure themselves. He's not going to give you just any exercise to do. The goal is to become PAIN FREE baby. Therefore, he creates a tailor made gameplan that fits your body's particular needs.

  • Physical Revival: I began Pilates under Mike Kyser's instruction as I had watched my dear friend's transformation with Kyser. This is a stronger recommendation than mere words. Now I am also realizing improved flexibility, increased core strength, and balance, feeling younger and revived. This is my new path and my physical revival.

  • This feels like a very personal review to write but I want to share my experience in case there is another person like me reading this.. I have Dyspraxia .. it is a developmental coordination disorder which affects spatial relationships.. the ability to perform coordinated movements in a sequence .. organizing single step tasks..balance and strength.. so I have always struggled with physical activities and the embarrassment and shame of not being able to do what other people do so effortlessly..couple the dyspraxia with traumas from childhood and it’s a lot to work through.. I have always felt so disconnected from my body but I have always believed that there was someone out there that would be able to help me find that connection..allowing the trauma to be healed.. I have been on the search for that person for 30 years.. I have gotten my hopes up about so many different trainers/ instructors /modalities over the years but none of them were equipped to help me..and this is not a negative reflection on any of them..its just my experience.. so when I was having a conversation with a friend about her Pilates instructor( Mike Kyser) that takes an approach that she had never experienced before and she described his attention to the smallest movements..and his ability to get her to slow down.. and how she had more awareness of aspects of her body that she had not had previously.. I felt hopeful..and fortunately I was able to book a session with him and I bought a package at the end of that session..it was such a different experience.. I feel safe and comfortable to show up exactly as I am..I have had 6 sessions at this point and I am making connections.. I will never be a star athlete.. but I am experiencing something greater .. a relationship with my body and a release from the shame and sadness I have always carried..I am so grateful to have found a person that can intelligently and intuitively guide me through that process in a compassionate humorous and non judgmental environment..there is no one like him..
